A guide for teachers
Run a short career session with tools your learners can open on a phone.
A 40-minute session
- Introduce the three pathways (5 minutes). The pathway pages list the careers under each.
- Each learner takes the interest quiz (about 3 minutes) and notes their three-letter code.
- In pairs, learners explore the subject builder and the career matcher (15 minutes).
- Collect codes on the class sheet below and discuss patterns in the group (10 minutes).
- Close by asking each learner for one career to find out more about.
Results are saved only in each learner's own browser. Shared devices will keep the last result, so learners should use the "Delete my result" button on the quiz page, and "Clear all my subject ratings" in the matcher, when they finish. Nothing is sent to a server.
